This is a good book so far, folks!

I'm about a quarter of the way through and I'm really not sure where it's going to go (I keep saying NOOOOOOOO TIETJENS!!!! DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just started listening to an audiobook of Parade's End, because it sounds interesting and I really want to watch the miniseries, but I don't want to watch it before I've read the book.  I am so glad that people are still happy to cast Cumberbatch as awkward and ungainly, since that is what he most definitely is. :-D ( Read more... )

A group of college kids came to our school to play some music.  One was a baritone.  He sang "The Vagabond" from Songs of Travel.  This is one of my favorite songs and he performed it admirably ( Read more... )

"Could you look into the bathroom for me?  A group of boys just went in there, and I'm told they shouldn't be in there together because they're too silly."
